A Note to Our Visitors

Overview

The flora and fauna seen in paintings have been expressed in various ways, as familiar forms drawn from close observation, or as figures with mystical powers created from vivid imagination. In this exhibition, we will show examples of works from the periods of the Chinese and Korean dynasties which have a deep connection to Japanese paintings. Please enjoy the many different expressions of life.
