Sculpting in Time: Stone Buddhist and Taoist Sculptures of the Northern Wei Dynasty, China

Adults 300 (150) yen, University / High school students 200 (100) yen

*Free for Junior high school students and under and those 65 years and older living in Osaka city. Please show proof of age (driver’s license, passport, etc.) when entering.

Overview

With a focus on Chinese sculptures from the Yamaguchi Collection of which we are proud, we exhibit Buddhist and Taoist images made in the Northern Wei dynasty (of the Northern and Southern dynasties) and subsequent Western Wei and Eastern Wei dynasties (5th-6th century).
